Many departments run their own extra-curricular clubs to stimulate interest beyond the classroom and some departments provide regular fieldwork expeditions.

Parents' Evenings for each year group are held at key points, and Tutors are available throughout term-time to discuss any concerns parents have about their son's academic progress.
