Facilities
The College comprises two buildings and various annexes which are well equipped with modern facilities and apparatus necessary to teach the National Curriculum up to GCSE.· In the main College building, a mosque and assembly hall augments the original classic Georgian building and provides a religious focus and space for daily performance of prayers.· The second building is of unique architectural design, and includes two modern well equipped laboratories, art and design lab and a further 3 classrooms, together with a purpose build dining hall utilised by our Muslim catering company who prepare meals on school fresh daily and only use 100% HMC approved halal meats.
The main building houses two classrooms, a small library and up-to-date Information Technology Centre.· The nearby Islamia School Centre provides the College with large gymnasium facilities, and Aylestone playing fields offer boys spacious sports grounds for outdoor activities.· Class sizes are kept to a maximum of twenty-five so that as much individual attention as possible can be given to each student.· For certain subjects, when appropriate, class numbers may be considerably smaller.
The emphasis is on providing a first-class education in a secure environment where the individual student’s development is regularly monitored and assessed.· The comprehensive curriculum will prepare our students thoroughly for admission to further education institutions.
