Umrah Trip 2013
![]()

Verily all praise is due for Allaah, we praise Him, seek His help and forgiveness; we repent to Him and seek refuge in Allaah from the evil of our ownselves and from our wicked deeds. May Allaah bestow His peace and blessings upon the seal of the Prophets Muhammad sallalahu alahi wassalam (peace be upon him).
It gives us great pleasure in announcing our third umrah trip, which will insha’Allaah ta’ala be a journey of a life time without a doubt. This is planned towards the end of the summer term and will cater for all students from Year's 7 to 10 who wish to participate. Students are encouraged to complete application forms early as seats are very limited.

Brondesbury wrestlers win 2 Golds at the English Junior Championships 2012
Since our last outing to the Midlands Invitational in Nottingham back in February, the squad have been hard at work with the squad size bolstered by several new additions after some strong performances in the 4th Annual Brondesbury College Wrestling Tournament that took place in March. Having literally just completed that, we started preparing for the English Junior Championships in May.

As part of our preparations we had our third friendly dual meet with Legion Wrestling in Walthamstow East London and also trained with the Eric Ciake, the wrestling coach at London Shootfighters in West London.
Toughest competition so far!
On Friday 24th of February, the school day had come to an end and the Brondesbury College Wrestling Team were getting set to load their bags onto the minibus and set off to Nottingham to compete at The 'Midlands Invitational' one of the annual freestyle wrestling tournaments held in Great Britain.
We arrived in Nottingham at around 7.45pm and went straight to the pre-tournament weigh-in at Bilborough College, the venue for the tournament the next day.
